What's new at SeeUsPlay?

We've just released a host of new features designed to make it faster and easier to create awesome sports videos. We hope you're gonna love them!

Multi-sport support

We're thrilled to announce we've extended Follow AI to support an array of new team sports! If you're not familiar with Follow AI, it's the AI engine that enables our sports camera solution to automatically make game videos from GoPro footage.

Follow AI now automatically creates game videos for the following sports:

• Soccer (outdoor and indoor)

• American football (both tackle and flag!)

• Basketball

• Lacrosse

• Field hockey

• Rugby

• Volleyball

• Ice hockey

When you initially set up a team in the SeeUsPlay App, select the appropriate sport from the list!

Record in 4K or 5K

The SeeUsPlay App and Follow AI now support recording in both 4K and 5K resolution!

5K is perfect for large outdoor soccer fields, where its superior resolution keeps the video sharp as the AI zooms in on the action on the far side of the field. However, on smaller fields and courts, recording in 5K offers minimal improvements vs. 4K.

Here are some reasons why you may want to record in 4K instead of 5K:

1. Faster upload and processing: 4K video files are much smaller than 5K, so they upload and process faster!

2. Better heat tolerance: When recording in 5K with our recommended settings, your cameras are unlikely to overheat even on hot days. However, recording in 4K generates less heat than 5K, reducing the potential for overheating on unusually hot days (~100 degrees).

3. Longer battery life: In 4K video mode, the camera doesn't use as much power so batteries will last longer.

4. More recording space: Because the 4K files are smaller, you'll be able to fit more footage onto a given SD card.

Token Packs

We've replaced our 20-Game Packs with Token Packs. With Token Packs, you decide whether to record in 4K or 5K. Then, when we create your game video, we withdraw tokens from your pack based on the resolution you selected:

• 5K: 5 tokens

• 4K: 4 tokens

We offer Token Packs in two sizes:

100 Tokens and 200 Tokens.

How many games can you create for each?

• 100 Tokens

  • 5K: 20 game videos

  • 4K: 25 game videos (25% more!)

• 200 Tokens

  • 5K: 40 game videos

  • 4K: 50 game videos (25% more!)

You can check your remaining tokens at any time in the SeeUsPlay App.

Customers with 20-Game Packs will be converted to Token Packs. For each game remaining on the 20-Game Pack, 5 tokens will be credited to the new Token Pack. Please contact support@seeusplay.com with any questions.

Download High-Res Videos

After your video is uploaded to SeeUsPlay and processed, you'll receive an automated email notifying you the video is available. In addition to providing a link to the video on your YouTube channel, we've added a link to the SeeUsPlay Downloader which allows you to download the original high-res video!

Whether you want to edit your video, save it using your own storage or just watch it without needing an internet connection, we've got you covered!!

Scoreboards

Use the SeeUsPlay App's Events view to update the score during your game and a scoreboard will be added to both your game and highlight videos!

YouTube Timestamps

If you tag highlights and scoring events during your game, you'll notice that timestamps have been added to your YouTube video's description field (under your channel name on the left side of the browser). Click on the blue timestamp and your video playback will jump to the start of that event in the footage!

Home or Away

When adding a game, select Home or Away and the order of the teams in the game name will be changed in:

• the video description provided to YouTube

• the introduction title sequence of the game and highlight videos.

TIP

The typical order of home and away teams in a game title varies by country and sport. If the ordering of the SeeUsPlay App doesn't match your local conventions, select the opposite home/away setting and the order will be reversed!
